Accessing data

Data from the HPLC instruments is automatically made available at ftp://chemtl.york.ac.uk/HPLC-Jasco/.

Data is autosaved with a filename based on the instrument name, date and time of injection (InstrumentName - dd_mm_yyyy hh_mm_ss). Data is available in the following formats:

PDF

Portable document format. An auto processed document containing the chromatogram and automatically generated peak table with integrations.

CDF

Chromatography Data Interchange Format. This format can be imported directly into ACD/Spectrus for reprocessing.

TXT

Tab-delimited text format with time in minutes against voltage in millivolts. This can be read into any application capable of processing text data (ex Microsoft Excel).

PRM

Native chromatography file for the Clarity which controls the HPLCs.
