Cuvettes

Fluorescence cuvettes have four optical faces as emission is recorded perpendicular to the excitation source in the instrument. Cuvettes are available in the same range of materials as UV-Vis spectroscopy including: polystyrene (PS); polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA); Brand-UV; and quartz. Cuvettes are only available with a 1 cm pathlength and 4 mL sample volume. For most fluorescence spectroscopy Brand-UV cuvettes are recommended as the first choice.
