3D printing facilities offer the ability to fabricate three dimensional items using a range of polymers. The printer within Teaching Labs is primarily used for printing to scale molecular models from single crystal X-ray diffraction structures, but is also used to produce other items, particularly for use within the lab.
As well as the 3D printing facilties available within Chemistry Teaching Labs, there are a number of other printing facilities available across the department which can be accessed via the department workshops.
The Library Creativity Lab also provide a range of 3D printing facilities to both staff and students which can be used for work or personal projects. More information on the services offered by the creativity lab can be found via the link below.
