Teaching Labs used to have an Agilent 6850 capillary column GC system used with an autosampler for third year mini-project use this has now been replaced with the GCs used as part of the chromatography service. We have both normal and chiral columns.

Accessing data
Data from the GC is automatically made available at ftp://chemtl.york.ac.uk/AGC/ Folders of data are automatically named in the format PC Name yyyy-mm-dd hh-mm-ss where the date and time are the time of injection.
A PDF file is automatically produced, alternatively the .ch file can be opened directly into ACD/Spectrus for reprocessing. Acquisition paramaters are found in the ACQ.txt file
