Structures and Schemes

Being able to draw chemical structures and schemes is an important skill for a chemist which you will need to be able to do when producing risk assessments and written reports. There are several specialist packages available to use, but the university has a site wide license for ChemDraw. The software is installed on all the PCs within teaching labs, as well as all IT services PC classrooms. 

Accessing on Campus

The software can be found in the start menu and is called 'ChemDraw'. 

Accessing from Home 

The software can be accessed via the virtual desktop service, which is managed by IT services.

Downloading for Personally Owned Devices

Information for downloading and installing the software onto personally owned devices can be found from the IT Services software pages for ChemDraw.
